You may be wondering, why is this important? Bees help sustain ecosystems and produce natural resources by helping plants reproduce. We carry pollen on our bodies that allow the transfer of genetic material critical to the reproductive system of most flowering plants. As a result of this work, pollinators like me are necessary for 75% of all of the crop plant species used for food.
