New technology crop protection products like BASIN FLEX harness naturally occurring peptides with insecticidal properties to fight pests in fruit, vegetables and high-value specialty crops. How it works:

Pest ingests plant treated with BASIN FLEX and a low dose of Bt (LEPROTEC® WG)

BASIN FLEX is tank-mixed with a gut-disrupting facilitator such as Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)

Pest ingests plant tissue treated with BASIN FLEX and a low dose of Bt.

Bt crystal proteins damage the gut cells allowing BASIN FLEX access to the nervous system.

The targeted nervous cells are depolarized and unable to reset and transmit new electrical signals.

Affected cells are unable to reset and transmit new electrical signals.

This causes paralysis and death of the insect.
